"Hi, are you struggling with whether or not you have good friends? Well I'm Dr. Felicia and I'd like to share a few tips with you on how to assess a good friendship. One of the first things you want to look for in a friend is that you feel better when you're with that person. Do they lift your spirits? Do they encourage you to be you? Do they make you feel good about yourself? In contrast to that I can say that an example would be if you had a friend that was constantly using you as a butt of a joke or ridiculing you when you're in public with other people or demeaning you in some way. Obviously that's not a good friendship. The other way to assess a good friendship is if that person sticks with you through all your bad times, listens to you when you're in trouble and has empathy for you, and understands your situation. Another clue of a good friend would be if your friend is helping you in positive situations. Do they encourage you to do good healthy things that are good for you? You wouldn't want a friend who's actually going to drag you down and make more drama in your life or make more problems in your life. You want a friend who's going to help you streamline your life and make it more harmonious. This is true of all relationships but it's really important to have a friend who is there for you through thick and thin, who stays loyal and who actually makes you feel good about yourself when the end of the day comes. That's important to assess in a friendship relationship or in any relationship. Remember if they're not then you need to make a decision for yourself but in the meantime most good friends will stand by through thick and thin, and that's the true test of a friend when the rough gets going as they say the tough stay with you. So good luck in finding that good friend and hopefully my tips will help you assess weather or not your friendships are good for you. I wish you good luck. This is Dr. Felicia saying goodbye for now and god bless."
