"Learning how to re-grip your golf clubs is something that every golfer should know. I'm Jared Garbett, with Echo Farms Country Club, and today I'm going to teach you how to properly re-grip your golf club. You're going to begin by taking a hooked razor, inserting the tip of it underneath the edge of your grip, and pulling up, cutting the grip all the way to the top. After cutting the grip, you're going to pull the old grip off, and you're going to remove all of the old tape underneath. You're then going to take a new roll of double-sided tape, and place one of it where the old tape began, and pull the tape all the way to the top of the golf club. Only take enough tape to keep the grip secure, no extra. You're going to roll the tape around, and then remove the double-sided part of it. You're going to take your new grip and fill it halfway full of mineral spirits or acetone. Be sure to plug the end of the grip so that the acetone does not leak out. You're then going to release the hole, and let the acetone run along the edge of the double-sided tape. This takes away the grips stickiness so that you can apply the new grip onto the shaft. You're going to slide the new grip on, all the way so that it covers the entirety of the tape. After finishing this, you've successfully re-gripped your golf club. And that's how you re-grip a golf club."
