"Having a change of golf grips, is an everyday part of golf. Golf grips wear out, and new ones have to be put on. I'm Jerry Garbett, and I'm going to teach you how to replace your golf grips, today. On your golf club, you're going to need a very sharp, hooked razor. You're going to insert the end of the razor into underneath the grip, and you're going to pull up, and cut the grip, all the way off. After cutting the grip, you're going to unravel the grip, the old grip, and remove it. There's going to be a layer of tape, underneath the grip, and you're going to want to remove this also. Today, I'm just going to leave this grip on here, but you will want to remove it, for future notice. You want to take a roll of double sided tape, center it on to the shaft of the golf club, in the same manner, that the old tape was on. You can cut the tape off, and then undo both sides of the tape, so that most of the sticky sides are showing. You're going to now take the new grip, and fill it full of acetone, or mineral spirits. Hold the hole on the end of the grip, to keep the acetone or mineral spirits, inside. You're then going to release the hole, and put mineral spirits all over the tape. This takes away the tape's stickiness, and let's you work with it a little more, so that you can fold the entirety of the tape, onto the shaft. Then, take the new grip, and gently slip it over the end of the shaft of the club, and then work the grip onto the shaft. After doing so, the grip will extend all the way down to the bottom of the shaft, and you'll have a brand new grip on your golf club. Wait about two or three hours for it to dry, and then swing away, and that's how you replace the grip on your golf club."
