"A moving fastball is any fastball that creates movement. It can be accomplished in a number of different ways but basically a moving fastball is a ball that moves to the right or to the left or has some sink in it and that can simply be accomplished by where you place your fingers on the ball to the right or to the left or if you turn the ball over where you have your longest finger on top which would create sink. But basically your two seam fastball, your cutter, your screwball, your fastball with movement are basically the same pitch with basically the same grips. They are just named different names to create the effect that you want to. A batter can adjust to speed, a batter can adjust to location but it is very hard for a batter to adjust to movement. So any fastball with movement can be a very effective pitch."
