"A left handed curve ball it obviously is thrown by a left handed pitcher. It's accomplished by the largest of your fingers being gripped across, or on the seams into the horseshoe with a very light amount of pressure on the first finger. When the ball is brought forward in the release position, the ball will roll over the first finger and the back of the hand will show, and after follow through it will create a spin that will break away from a left handed batter and that is a left handed curve."
