You can use almost any bike for transportation, but there are certain features on bicycles that you can get today to make things a lot easier, and a lot more maintenance free. One of those features is thorn resistant tires. But another one, is the way that the bike is actually moved around. The gear system. this particular bike, and this one here, they have an internally gear drive train. So no derailleurs that also means that they're able to have a chain guard. Like is on here. Back side of the bike on both of these. And that allows you to not have greasy pant legs. Most of them have some type of cargo carrying capacity. In this case a rack. In this case a basket. Some of them actually come with some other really ice features. Generally speaking they'll some with fenders, such as this, and this particular bike, which is a European bike, also comes with what's known as a coat guard or a skirt guard. That keeps your coat or your dress from getting dirty. Also we have generators on the front that power your headlight and tail light, and we have integrated locks.
