"Hi I'm Tim Gipson and I'm going to talk to you about how to select ceramic tile. Now when you look at a ceramic tile, first you want to look at what your budget is and what your application is. Ceramic tile comes in various sizes from a two by two inch size up to something as large as sixteen by sixteen. And when selecting your tile first as far as size you want to look at your application. Your wall tiles will pretty much be from either a you know from a four inch size up to the six inch size. And will depend on the type of look that you are looking for. Whether you are looking for a bathroom, whether you are doing a shower, a shower installation, shower tile. A bathtub surround and you may use it in your kitchen to create an accent wall or splash over your counter top areas. Next we move on to the flooring and your flooring tile tends to be a larger tile. Which would be your twelve to sixteen inch tile. And there are all kinds of looks in your ceramic tiles. There are neutral colors, there's all the way up to a darker or travertine type of looking tile, so when you are looking at the size and the color of your spacing, you can get some very traditional looks and some very contemporary looks. If you are looking at to add resale value to your home, what I recommend is use something that's kind of in between that doesn't really go to the extremes of either traditional or contemporary but something that's kind of more in the middle of the road. And that way you can find something that's your style but that will also be more likely to meet the style of subsequent home buyers. And when you are choosing the size of your tile, particularly when you look at flooring tile, you want to look at the size of your space. If you have a very large space, then it may open itself more to have the larger tile say as in the sixteen by sixteen. Your average size spaces you can use your twelve inch by twelve inch tile. So I'm Tim Gipson with some tips on how to choose tile."
