"Hi, this is Laura Turner, and today I'm going to talk with you about how to become a travel writer. First of all you have to establish a locations, many locations that you've been to that you can write freely about. Probably one of the best jobs for you to have before becoming a travel writer is to work on a cruise, because you can actually be dropped off at many different ports, and actually discover many different places. All while getting paid. So think about that. Think about amassing many places that you've been to before you start writing about them, obviously. Then, after you've been around the world, start compiling your experiences. Read other travel books about places that you've been to, and see what they are trying to say, and what they bring to the table, and what you can bring to the table. What your expertise might be, instead of theirs. How you can market yourself opposed to them. And how you can give a different spin, rather than just, you know, the regular, you know, travel books. How can you give your personal, unique spin on travel experiences in certain countries that you've been to many times. And then finally write your travel book with your unique twist, and your personal experiences added in, and I think that that would be a good way to start to become a travel writer."
