"So as far as tipping your artist goes, really your tip is kind of an expression of how well you think the artist did for you, but also how much you appreciate how you were treated. On a big piece like this where it's multiple sessions, some people will tip after every session, sometimes 20 dollars 30 dollars, depending upon how much money they manage to bring with them, sometimes they'll tip at the end of the whole thing, you'll get a huge tip, a 200 dollar tip or something at the completion of the whole piece. So really it's just the individuals discretion how much to tip, there isn't a percentage like 20 percent or 15 percent or anything like that. A lot of times in this business we have to work with peoples financial state, so sometimes people have a lot of money to work with, sometimes they don't have very much at all, so either way it is accustom to tip the artist after he renders your service, but there isn't a standard percentage or method for tipping, it all just depends on how you feel about the artist and how good of a job he did for you, but also how much money you're working with. Sometimes a big piece can be a lot of money, thousands and thousands of dollars, so sometimes when you're working on a big piece like that it's good to just tip a little bit after each session, as appose to tipping a hug lump sum at the very end, so it'll be nice. So on a piece like this the piece was under a couple of hundred dollars, so generally 20, 30, 40 dollar tip is pretty much the standard, that's generally how much you would tip on a piece like that, whereas the piece on the top, which is a little bit more involved, a good tip would be 20 dollars, between 20 and 40 dollars, whereas the microphone piece maybe 10 or 20 dollars is a good amount to tip on that."
