"Hi, I'm Dr. Aimee Beger, Veterinarian, and today, we're going to be talking about your dog marking his territory. If your dog is not neutered or spayed neutering him or her would be a very good idea to help deter or stop the behavior. If your dog is already neutered things like cleaning up the environment where they have previously gone with a good deodorizing cleanser, such as Anti-Icky-Poo, or Nature's Miracle are good ideas so they cannot, so they no longer smell where they've gone. The other thing is to to actually deter them from that area, or to completely block off that area in your home if they are going in the home, and if it's, you know, if they're marking outside then that that is a natural behavior of dogs, so it's something to keep in mind."
