They can be transmitted from pet to per but not from pet to person. So no need to worry about yourselves. If you do find fleas on your dog, what should do is go to your veterinarian and ask them to prescribe or give you a topical flea prevention product. There are several out there. You would also want to treat your pet's environment such as their bedding, any carpeted areas or sofas or chairs in your home that the fleas could potentially laying eggs in your home as well. Products that we use here are topical prevention as well as therapeutic medications. And usually we use a product that you just, it's a little liquid that you put, it's very easy to apply. You just squirt it on your dog's skin just between their shoulder blades."
