"Hi, this is Laura Turner. And today we're going to talk about how to build goodwill in writing. Building goodwill in writing is of course, first sort of done by knowing your subject matter well. And being able to communicate to those who will be reading it. So know your subject matter but also know the audience. That you're writing it for. If you know who you're writing for and why. Chances are that they're going to read you again. Because they're going to know what to expect from you. So know your subject well. And also write honestly. Readers really would you know, most prefer to read authors who are writing honestly about what they've experienced. And what they know about the world. So build goodwill by sort of, presenting that to the reader. Next, use the tense that you're writing into your advantage. Are you going to be writing in first person. You know, I'm going to the store. I went over here, I had this experience. Which is going to be a more informal way of writing. That's going to actually help you get a little closer to your readers. Or do you want to write in third person. You know, she went to the store. This is where she is going. Things like this are going to help you to access the level of connection. That you're going to have with your readers. And quite possibly the more connected you are with them. The closer that you allow yourself to be in first person. Is going to sort of, build that rapport and that trust in your writing. So those are just some ideas for building goodwill in writing."
