"Hi, this is Laura Turner, and today I'm going to talk with you about how to write college scholarship essays. Your scholarship essay is probably one of the most important things you're going to write before you go to college, because this is going to allow you to have the money in order to get there. So first of all, follow the guidelines for the essay. Make sure that your really putting your best foot forward and that you're putting everything down that needs to be down. Be very honest in your essay if it's an opinion based essay. Be really the best writer you can be at that moment, and be as honest as you can about what your views are on what ever topic you were told to write about. But if it is sort of research based essay, or an essay on a particular topic, make sure that you've done all of your research on that topic before you start writing. Next, of course, have somebody proof read your essay for errors, and really make sure that you don't send anything off that is going to put you at the bottom of the stack, because you miss spelled, you know, one of the first, you know, words in your essay. So, that's something that you might, you know, just totally miss with out even intending to. And then finally, make sure you have said all there is to say in the correct format before you send it off, because really, you only get once chance at something like this, and hopefully you'll get it. So, good luck."
