How to Handle a Man Cheating

"Hi, my name is Reka Morvay and I am a psychologist. I'm going to talk to you today about how to handle your man cheating on you. If you found that your partner has been cheating on you, this is a very, very painful experience. And it is very important for you to be able to sit down and to evaluate your relationship. Is this relationship something that you're happy with? Is this a relationship that he is happy with? You need to be able to answer yes to both of those questions. If you're both happy in your relationship then maybe it is time to start drawing some boundaries and drawing up some ground rules in the relationship. What is important to both of you? What are those needs that you need fulfilled in order to feel happy in this relationship? If you find that your partner has cheated on you it is time to sit down and discuss your expectations of the relationship. If you - this is also a time to try to find and fix the problems that might exist in your relationship so that your partner doesn't have any reason to go out and cheat. However, if you feel that everything in your relationship is the way it should be, then you need to be very clear about your boundaries and your expectations with your partner and you need to draw up some clear consequences for his cheating behavior. If you agree that everything is great about your relationship and you are doing everything for each other, that you can possibly to do in order to have a happy relationship, but your man is still - has the wandering eye or is cheating on you, you need to be really, really very clear about your boundaries and what is acceptable behavior in the relationship and what isn't. Now come up with consequences, what will happen, and let him know what will happen if he cheats again because if you are clear in your intention and say this is not acceptable for me, then you need to be able to communicate that and you need to follow through."
