"Hi my name is Reka Morvay. I'm a psychologist and I'm going to talk to you today about how to tell somebody that you like them. The most obvious way to tell somebody that you like them is to come out and say well I like you. Now most people don't have the guts to come out and say something this obvious that they like so instead you might try giving compliments. Say you like certain traits that this person has or you enjoy what they did or you enjoy spending time with them to try giving meaningful compliments, not really empty compliments but try to find something maybe that that person is very proud of or something that they feel good about and compliment them on that. Another way to tell somebody that you like them is by not telling them at all but instead showing them. Show them that you like them by preferring to spend time with them, by listening to them, by paying attention to them, by showing that you prioritize them above other people for example. If you haven't offered to go hang out with two people then you choose the one that you like obviously. These are all small signs but overall they add up to show a person that you really care."
