"Hello, I'm Sarah Norris in Wilmington, North Carolina from Total Childcare Center and today I would like to talk with you about cheap daycare centers. I'm not sure that parents would say that there are any cheap daycare centers at the present time; however, I think you need to be aware of why the costs may be less, and you need to definitely check it... check the center out. You should always do that whether it's expensive or cheap. But thoroughly check out why the tuition costs may be less than the center down the road. Quality is definitely tied to cost and it does cost to have quality in childcare, therefore most of your more expensive centers are probably providing more quality, and particularly in North Carolina with the star rating system those four and five star centers often do charge more because of the cost in providing that type of quality. Now you may find a center with a cheaper rate that has been highly, and is being highly subsidized, and that's okay. Just be sure you do your homework and check out all the centers and why... ask why is your rate cheaper than another center in comparison. If the answer is they're highly subsidized, but they're providing quality, then that is fine. So I hope you have learned a little bit today about thinking about cheaper daycare centers."
