Benefits of Child Daycare

"Hello, I'm Sarah Norris from Total Childcare Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. Today we'll talk a little bit about benefits of child care. Studies have proven that children who attend quality, early childhood, learning programs do better in school than those who do not. Their success level throughout their academic career is usually greater than those who have not attended. We also know that kindergarten screenings, when you look at those, you will see the children that have benefited from early childhood education and quality programs will screen better on those initial tests for kindergarten, and normally do better in kindergarten throughout the elementary years. It is definitely tied to school success. With many studies, and with just...when you think about it just in...in the realm of the world today and how important education is, beginning at an early age cannot be stressed enough. All the teaching should be done through appropriate..age appropriate, developmentally appropriate activities, with concept teaching being the thing that occurs in the early pre-school years. So, child care is certainly a benefit for your child before they enter regular school, and should be considered even before you begin having a child, so that you will...you can plan for that. We do find that the children do succeed better, and will do better in life with not only academic, but also social skills."
