"Hi, my name is Michael Orkin and I'm a television producer. Why did I become a television producer? Well, at some point in life, I thought I wanted to be a sportscaster, and I went to college and I got a degree to be a television newscaster or sportscaster. I got my first job as a news reporter because it was tough to get into the sports room and worked my way into a sportscaster job and quickly found out that to be a sportscaster you have to like all sports and not just the few sports that I liked and then I realized I wasn't going to be a sportscaster. So then I was going to be a feature news reporter, and things happened and eventually I realized that I was probably better behind the camera than in front of it, and took a job as producer of long form television shows. And then I sort of blossomed and found out what I was much better at than being in front of the camera and that was being a television producer. And that's how I ended up as television producer behind the camera."
