The refurbished or refilled ink cartridges have a tendency to damage the print head which in turn damages the main board. And cost to repair those things exceed the value of the machine. Refilled, people don't make machines for other people's product to work in it. Therefore they want you to purchase their quality ink cartridges which you'll notice if you do they're going to cost a little more. But the print quality is ten times better and therefore I would not suggest that you use refurbished ink cartridges. And that's about it for the subject of ink cartridges."
