"Hi, my name is Reka Morvay. I'm a psychologist, and I'm going to talk to you today about how to end your marriage. If you've come to a decision that this relationship is not going to work out, and that it will being more heartache to you and more difficulties for maybe your children and for your spouse than getting a divorce then it is time to end your marriage. When you come to this decision make sure that you communicate it effectively to your spouse. Be calm and be kind. Remember how you would feel if you were in the same situation if the situation was reversed. Try to be calm and respectful, because this is probably going to be a very drawn out, and a very emotional process; going through the divorce, deciding about your assets, deciding about your previous life together. If you have any children then deciding about their fate, the visitation. It is best to try to maintain a working and friendly relationship with your spouse throughout this process, because it's going to be very difficult for everybody involved. Also, remember that before you come to a decision to end your marriage it is worth trying to work it out. Marriages don't simply end. They end when people give up trying to make them work."
