"Hi, I'm Sundae with Natural Sundae. Have you ever wondered what a Thai massage is? Well I'm going to tell you. Now sometimes Thai massage is referred to as Thai yoga massage and this is because it is a type of massage that - where the practitioner actually uses her arms, hands, feet and legs to stretch the client in a series of yoga like positions and it's actually referred to as lazy man's yoga because the client doesn't have to do any of the work. The practitioner is actually the one that's doing the stretching and the client just lays there and allow themselves to be stretched in this manner by the practitioner. Now, Thai yoga massage has many, many benefits. But first of all I'm going to tell you how it's done. It's done on the floor on a mat, and the reason why it's done on the floor and not on a massage table is because all these funny positions that the practitioner and the client are in - if it's on the table they may fall off. So it's actually for safety reasons, so Thai massage is done on a mat on the floor. Now the many different therapeutic reasons for doing Thai massage are it really helps increase flexibility, range of motion, joint mobility and increases circulation. It also - people say that they feel relaxed but very energized after a Thai yoga massage. It's actually a wonderful form of massage that's just a little bit different. It's a little bit more intense than a regular massage of course because your yoga is incorporated and that means that your tissues are going to have a little bit more circulation, they're going to maintain a flexibility a little bit easier and you're actually going to learn something too. These are movements that you can actually learn from your therapist and take home with you, and there are ways that you can continue to be energized and relaxed at the same time. Who doesn't like that? So again in short, Thai yoga massage is also called Thai massage, it's done on the floor, and a series of stretches are shown and practiced onto the client by the therapist. So it's a lazy man's yoga but it's wonderful, it's relaxing and it's energizing at the same time. I'm Sundae with Natural Sundae."
