How to Refill the HP 45 Black Ink Cartridge

"Hi this is Taylor and today we are discussing HP cartridges and how to refill them. Our subject today is the HP 45 cartridge. The HP 45 cartridge fits about 45 milliliters of ink. To fill it up first you will need to remove a black cover exposing this BB. Once seen you can push the BB into the center of the cartridge and have no worry it will not damage anything in the printer. Once you have pushed the BB into the cartridge you need to inflate the center bladder. To do so get a syringe without a needle, insert and push in about 10 milliliters of ink. Some ink may come out of the top of the print head but don't worry that is a good sign that the print head is clean. Next after you have inflated the bladder get a syringe full of ink, put in about a quarter of an inch and slowly depress the ink filling the cartridge. Once again it should take about 45 milliliters. The last part to refilling the HP 45 cartridge is to place a BB back in the top and depress firmly. After that is accomplished, place it on a paper towel for about 15 minutes. It will leak about 5 milliliters of ink causing a mess so please do so in an appropriate location. After about 15 minutes of dripping, it is pressurized and ready to use."
