How to Get Rid of Aphids

"Hi, this is Yolanda Vanveen from vanveenbulbs.com, and in this section we're going to talk about how to get rid of aphids, or how to control aphids. Now aphids are just a small, tiny little bug, and they're a light green, and they grow all over fresh growth on your plants. And they can just cover a plant very quickly. And they pretty much suffocate the plant, and you'll lose it over a period of time. And then they'll spread to all your other plants. So they can become a big, big problem in your garden. But the easiest way that I've found to get rid of 'em is just to wash 'em off. Whenever I find aphids on my plant, I just hose that plant down, and just spray it down and keep hosing off those aphids. And, you do that three or four times in a row, and you'll find that you won't have near the aphids on your plants. If they're on your houseplants, just throw your houseplant in the shower, and give it a shower, just soak it down, and spray those aphids right off of there. And do this for once a day, or a couple days, a week, and you'll find that you won't have many aphids. And if it's still a problem, I found another easy solution. Just take any kind of oil, olive oil, cooking oil, vegetable oil, eucalyptus oil, any type of oil, and go right up to your plant and cover the areas with aphids right with oil. And you'll find it'll suffocate them, and they'll die immediately. And that way, you can enjoy your garden without aphids."
