"So you think you have a cute kid and you have a really handsome smile? Now, what do you do? I'm Hazely Lopez, director of Hazely Academy of Refinement and Modeling, and I'm here to talk to you about today how to become a kid male model. And it's really going to be about making it fun for him. If it's not fun for him, he is not going to be happy, he's not going to be making those fun shots that really... It's all about being a child. The first thing you want to do is promote him. Promote him wherever you can, and also make a comp card. Make, like, a set card that you can actually put pictures of him with his measurements and everything all together. You want to, at least, when they call you, once you send them to the agencies, those comp cards, they're going to call you to set up interviews to meet your child, and you want to bring portfolio and a portfolio. Make sure those pictures are professional pictures. No home pictures. They won't really look professional -- it's not a good look. And you're, after all, pursuing a job for your child. The most important part is to have them there, have them...a big smile. Always try to, you know, make it an enjoyable, fun time for them, and it's really all about that.
