"Hi, I'm Allison from Imagiknit in San Fransisco. If you'd like to start your own knitting circle. It's very simple. All you need to do is get a few friends together and decide where you'd like to meet. It can either be your home or your local coffee shop, even a local bar. Make sure that you bring with you your project and your pattern. If you haven't started a pattern yet and you're just not sure what kinds of supplies you will need make sure to bring plenty of different needle sizes so that you have what you need. Your friends will all be there for moral support if you're having a difficult time with your knitting. They'll also have constructive suggestions as well. You also might want to do a group project, or everyone pick the same project and help each other along and meet each week and you can compare progress on your projects. Another good way to utilize a knitting circle is to have your friends help you and support you in doing the part of the knitting project that you don't like. For me, that's the finishing and weaving in the ends. So just have a finishing party, invite your friends over and everybody has to do the hard part together."
