How to Fold the American Flag
Fold the American flag by starting with the field of stars up on the viewer's left and keeping all fold and creases tight and straight. Progressively fold an American flag into a triangle using instructions from the owners of a flag and flagpole vendor in this free video on flags.

Hi I'm Harvey Kronberg I'm joined by my wife Michelle the two of us own Austin Flag and Flagpole. And we are going to demonstrate how you fold an American flag. You start with the field up on the viewer's left. You place the flag horizontally, you do a fold in half, turn the flag to a second fold, make sure your crease is straight and your flag is aligned. Turn it one more time, and then you begin your triangle. And you want the person holding on the receiving end, wants to make sure they hold it tight so it's not accidentally ripped out of their hands. And you progressively go triangle over triangle. Eventually you'll get to the blue field with the white stars and when you get to the end you tuck the end into the flag and you end up with the triangle. And that's how you fold an American flag.
