"So your next option if you're looking for more intricacy of details, and a little more of a freedom to work inside of a smaller area, for cutting is the exacto blade knife, which you want to make sure again that you have lots of extra blades, I tend to change them often. But I always keep the remaining blades that don't necessarily have the sharpest point edge, because they're still usable and workable with other things, instead of tossing them out so freely. So I've just changed to a very sharp edge. And say I really enjoy the way this microphone is in this piece here, and I like the shape of it. It's an easier effect to achieve, holding the paper down strongly, and making sure you're always cutting away from yourself, and being sure to cut onto the surface that you have chosen as your cutting surface, such as a board or a cardboard. And here you're allowing yourself- See how my hand can just curve around, and curve around to the different shapes, and you can actually cut out a very intricate detail, or just a nice clean edge."
