"You have a 2 month old, and you're wondering, what more can I do to play with them? Hi, I'm Dr. Donna with some advice on, what to do with your 2 month old. One thing at this age is that babies are now starting to be more familiar with the sounds in their environment. Maybe your voice, maybe even barking dogs, maybe the phone ringing, the TV. You want to encourage them to continue hearing those sounds. Make sure you sing and you talk to your baby. Talk to them with a high voice, a low voice, your baby will just love seeing your face, so just talk to them when you're looking at them. When you walk into a room, call your baby's name, see if your baby will look at you. Also, you can use all kinds of little toys to just work on visual tracking. Taking the toys, moving it across them, moving them up high, down low, let your baby feel the toy. Also instruments, any type of shakers or rattles, or drums, let your baby hear them, see the sounds. If you have puppets, or maybe you don't, you can always go and pick up some, they're really cheap. Get little finger puppets. Have the finger puppets dance in front of them, or sing songs, they will just love them. Or you can use big puppets. Babies just love faces, so if you get human puppets, you can put the puppets in front of them, and let them talk, the puppets talk to them. Also, to work on some physical development, you want to start putting your baby maybe on a beach ball. Be really gentle at 2 months, just create some rocking motion, back and forth, front and back, sing some songs while you do it, just make up songs, your baby won't mind. Also you can use the beach ball to work on twirling and throwing, just again, working on that visual tracking, they will love interacting with the ball. You can also sit your baby on your lap and have somebody just roll it, and let them see the ball rolling to them, you can push it back. Also, scarfs, balls, wonderful props to work on babies, just playing with your baby, and all kinds of development. And last, love bubbles. What you can do is use the bubbles in a way that work on visual tracking, visual stimulation. Make sure when you're doing this, that you don't over stimulate your baby. Some babies are frightened by those bubbles coming at them. I'm Dr. Donna with some tips on, how to promote your 2 month old, playing with them"
