"Hi. My name is Scott. I'm the owner of "Climb On" indoor rock climbing gym in Wilmington North Carolina. Today we're going to discuss the rules of rock climbing. The first rule I'd like to point out is that you get proper instruction from your local indoor rock climbing gym or a qualified professional. Some more of the rules of rock climbing would be to make sure that you've got a partner, whether you are bouldering, top roping, sport climbing or tribe climbing so that that you can double check each other. Another rule would be to make sure that you go through your climbing commands each and every time that you begin to climb. It's important to go through your climbing commands so that your belier or your partner knows that you are beginning and can watch to make sure that you don't fall. Some of the other rules of rock climbing would be not to climb under someone else. Use etiquette when somebody is climbing or bouldering so that you are not jumping ahead of someone on a climb. That goes for indoor or outdoor climbing. Making sure that you've got the proper instruction to use the gear, to utilize the ropes and the harnesses and the other pieces of gear that we use for rock climbing. Most importantly is to learn safety by going to your local indoor gym for proper instruction on rock climbing. These have been the rules of rock climbing."
