"My name is Scott and I'm the owner of Climb On indoor rock climbing in Wilmington, North Carolina. Today we are going to discuss beginning rock climbing. The first thing that you want to do to become a beginner rock climber, is take the proper instruction at your local climbing gym. Some of the things that you are going to learn would start with your knots and how to belay your partner. The first knot that you would learn is the follow through figure eight which is what we use to tie in with each and every time that we go rock climbing. Belaying your partner is to take the slack out of the rope and help your partner not fall by the means of a mechanical device in the rope that he's tied in with, with the follow through figure eight. Once you start to take this beginning instruction this would be the road to your beginning of rock climbing. Some of the things that you would also learn are going to be conditioning, safety aspects, stretching and warming up. These are all important to the beginning of rock climbing. Again my name is Scott and this is beginning rock climbing."
