Video Transcript

"My name is Scott and I'm the owner of Climb On Indoor Rock Climbing Gym in Wilmington, North Carolina. Today we're going to discuss how to store a climbing rope. Your climbing rope is your lifeline. So you want to store it in a controlled area, not in the sand, not in the water or the rain. We use a rope bag to keep our climbing ropes clean and away from anything that could damage them. When storing your rope in your rope bag, you want to make sure that you put it in in a neat fashion, but where it won't take a memory to the rope. Make sure your ends are tied to the tabs so that you can find your ends easily. This is a great way to keep your rope clean, dry and out of the weather. It's also a really easy way to carry it. This has been how to store your rope."
