"Good afternoon, my name's Tom Brintzenhofe. I'm a certified master mechanic from Reading, Pennsylvania. Today we're going to talk about how to buy fuel treatments. Now, the more we have today, you kind of get a little confusing. Walk in a local parts store and there's just shelf after shelf of different fuel treatments. A lot of them do basically the same, same function. There are differences amongst them and I'll go over 'em a little bit here. You have three separate fuel treatments for diesel engines, all of which do basically the same thing, but some have...this one's basically removes water, if your diesel fuel's gelled up, this is a good one here. This one's an octane booster here, depending on...on what you're looking for. If you're just not getting the power that you want out of your diesel engine, this is a supreme product, right here. This is just a condess, a conditioner, an anti-gel. Like I said, It all depends on what purpose you're looking for. If you got a gas powered, gas powered engine, you're just looking for a regular fuel injection, this product right here, Two Plus Two from Berkebile works excellent. It's an intake cleaner, fuel injection cleaner. You got water in your fuel system, this ISO Dry works good. There's, there's tons of different products that make the same thing, but if you have a water problem, ISO Dry works real good. Overall, the best product I've found so far is from Lucas. Lucas makes tons of products, and they're supreme in their line, but this one pretty much does just about everything when it comes to a gas motor. Dump one of these in every other time you get, you get your gas treatment. It costs about four or five dollars at your local parts store. Like I said, an excellent product...it... All these products they have out there, they all have different purposes. The best thing to do if you have something in mind as to what you're looking to get out of a fuel treatment, is reach...read each individual bottle. They all serve different purposes.
