"Hi, I'm Reg Wilkins and today we're talking a little bit about filters. Probably hundreds of filters that one could choose from either to use on the front of the lens, the back of the lens, in the dark room, in other scenarios. Probably the most basic lens to use is thee UV filter, which is used on the front of the camera, and this is to filter out the ultra violet lights. This is often used also just to protect the lens from damage. There are also a huge variety of creative filters such as adding an an orange hue to a picture or aura. And there are various color filters that will change the tones and the hues in a picture, such as the red, orange and yellow filters."
