How to Join Urban Book Clubs & Get Free Books

"Hi, I'm Julia Drake and I'm going to talk about how to join an Urban Book Club and get free books. The first place when you're trying to join an Urban Book Club is with your friends and acquaintances. You know, people you know, people, you know, in your daily life. You know, just see if they are already part of a group. Then whatever interest groups that you're part of, you know, see if they are someone, you know, already is hosting a book group. You know if you wanted to travel a little bit outside your area, you know you can do that as well and you know, just make it, you know, a pastime, you know. Then obviously, your, your local community center, your library, you know any associations that you're part of. And then lastly, online obviously, that you can, you can find. There's a place that's called meetup.com and you can go there and you can find you know, interest groups. A great advantage of Urban Book Clubs is that, you know, you are in the city, working in the city but, you know, once a week, you kind of have this little place of escape. Or maybe you know, there's a part of you that, you know, comes out and as a freedom to express yourself. So usually what works joining a book club that requires a membership is that you, you fill out a membership application and you are required to buy one, no no, it's like three to five books, you know, usually at a price of you know, five dollars or something, it's not a lot. And then, your application will be reviewed and then you know, you're, you're good to go."
