"Hi, I'm Julia Drake, and I'm going to talk about how to join a free romance book club. The first thing to consider, when joining a free romance book club, well, let's just say first, a romance book club, is what kind of romance, are you interested in? There is so much out there, from historical romance, to vampire romance, is really trendy right now, to pulp romance, Danielle Steele, such things, so you really have to, there's a range of possible ladies out there. The first place to go, would be the Romance Writers Association of America. They feature just every genre of romance, and have different book clubs, that you can join, and then also, there's a number of publishers, who specialize in different kinds of romance, and so, and their book clubs are great, because they offer a lot of discounts on their books, because they want to get their material out there, and they also feature events with authors, so you can meet your favorite romance author. The differences between a free book club, and a book club where you have to pay membership, is that in a free book club, it's free, but you are responsible for buying your books, and it's not as structured, I'd say, versus a book club where you have to pay membership. You'll get a lot of discounts on books, but usually the way it works for your enrollment, you already have to purchase four to five books, in order to actually participate in the discussion, and the discussion is set. There's a moderator that sets the discussion questions, so you're not as free in it, but you get more discounts."
