Video Transcript

"Hi I'm Liz Muller from Liz's Hair Design, in Hollywood Florida. In this clip I'm going to show you how to use a flat iron. I'm going to go ahead and take a section of the hair, and let's take a smaller section, and take our time with the hair. I'm going to go ahead and, oops, the hair may fall down, so you may want to clip it, especially if it's thick and coarse like her hair. But you want to take the hair, and you see it has a little bit of frizz to it, and come close to the hair, and bring the hair all the way straight down like this, and bring it in like that. Hold the hair here, try not to touch it too much, it's a little hot, so just like that. Bring it up and down like that, and then go ahead and take the next section here, and bring it down, and get close to the scalp, please. So you can get the wave also out, and bring it all of the way down, curving the iron ever so slightly. Don't press too too hard, and bring it down. You'll get nice hair. This iron, right now, is at 300 degrees, for this hair, o.k. So you have different degrees for flat ironing. Thank you this has been Elizabeth Muller."
