"Hi I'm Liz Muller, from Liz's Hair Design, in Hollywood, Florida. In this clip I'm going to show you how to straighten ethnic hair with flat irons. OK, this is a one inch, yeah, flat iron from FHI. Wonderful iron. And at 450 degrees, I'm going to go ahead and show you how to straighten the ethnic hair. I'm going to take it from the root and take it straight down nice and slowly, so it can be straightened out just like this. My hair's very, very frizzy folks, very frizzy, and if you have very frizzy hair like me, you're going to notice it's going to take you a few times with the iron to straighten it out. That's why I don't really blow dry my hair as often, because it's not going to stay straight. Notice how I just take it and bring my, my wrist down like that and bring it all the way down. I curve it a little bit. And this is how you're going go ahead and end up having straight, smooth hair. If not, your hair will be frizzy like this. See the ends of my hair, see my hair? It gets really frizzy. I just dried it normally, and that's what happens. But again, you would take it to, from the root, get close to your root now, and bring it down nice and slowly at 450, OK, if your hair is frizzy like mine. Thank you, this has been Liz Muller."
