"Hi, I'm Liz Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida. In this clip, we're going to discuss different hair straighteners for hair. Now, in a, we've gotten to where a time that we have so many different types of straightening agents for hair. Back in the days, there was just perms, like straight solutions, hair solution perms that could actually straighten curls, you know, and then we had the basic relaxers, but now there's many different types or forms of straighteners, for example, we have the Carotene Treatment, the Brazilian Carotene Treatment that is used now for straightening hair. It has formaldehyde in it and it, what it does is it is applied on the hair, and then it is straightened out with a hot iron and left in the hair. So you have that straightening treatment right here that lasts for several months. You have Japanese straighteners, okay. And then you have the Caribbean Dream relaxers. That's also similar to a perm solution and it comes in two parts also. You apply it all over the hair, and when you apply it all over the hair, you also leave it in, in the bag, and you can leave it on for a little bit of time, and wait 'til you see the curls kind of straighten out and comb it through. Then you rinse it out and you reapply like a neutralizing solution. And of course your typical relaxers, but you have different types now that'll mix for different strengths and different types of hair. So as you see we have many, many different straightening treatments. Thank you. This has been Liz Muller."
