"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to make a new screensaver. Let's go to our computer. First I'm going to show you just how to change your screensaver. Basically, right-click somewhere on your desktop that is not on an icon and click on personalize. Now, what we want to click on here, if we'll scroll down a little bit, is let's find screensaver and click on screensaver. Now what this is going to do is provide us with a list of screensavers that we have available, and allow us to set some settings for them as to how they're going to work and information like that. Basically, we want to just change our screensaver. Under screensaver, there's a little drop-down here where we can just pick a different screensaver. Click the one you want. Let's just say preview. Now our screensaver that we've selected is going to preview. To save your changes to our new screensaver, just click on OK. Now we've just changed our screensaver, but let's say we want to do a new screensaver based on pictures that we've taken from our camera. The first thing you want to do is when you're downloading your pictures to your computer, just make sure you put them in the pictures folder that is under your start menu and in pictures. I've got some sample pictures here that came with the operating system, so those are the ones that we're going to use. Just imagine that you've got all of your family and vacation photos are right here, in this folder. Let's click back on screensaver, and for our screensaver we want to choose photos. Now if I click on settings it's going to allow us to change a couple of settings for our new photo screensaver. By default, as you can see, it's checked to use the pictures and videos from my pictures folder that's right there. You can also change the theme of the slideshow and also the speed with which it shows your pictures. I'm not going to change any of that, I'm just going to go with the defaults. So, let's preview our new screensaver simply by clicking on preview. As you can see, our computer is going to start displaying our photos in a screensaver format. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to make a new screensaver."
