"Hi my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to minimize a program. Let's go to computer; I'm just going to open up some programs and we'll start by opening up, let's say Microsoft Word. So click on the start button and find Microsoft Office and then I'm going to select Word. Now if you'll notice Microsoft Word is showing down here as an icon that I can click on. When I click on that, that makes it the active program. So what I'll want to do if I have multiple programs running and I want to kind of switch between them. The answer is minimization and maximization. Now if you notice you have three buttons up here at the top. You're probably used to clicking that X to close the program. If you look at these others, you have the option to minimize. I'm going to click this minimize button, as you can see Word is gone away, but it is not closed, it's still running down here at the bottom. Now if I click on it again, it will maximize which brings it back up. Let's minimize and I'm going to open up a second program. As you can see I have now two programs running together. I can click on them and bring them, bring them up or I can minimize them to switch between them. To minimize all your windows at once, hold down the windows key on your keyboard which is a little icon for windows and just press the d button. That minimizes everything. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to minimize a program."
