"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to use a computer. Let's go to our computer here, and what we're looking at now is called the desktop. It has icons that are basically shortcuts to different locations in your computer. This one would open up my web browser, this one would open up my files, and this one would open up files that I deleted but haven't yet removed from the computer. Another interesting part of your computer is the start menu, it's down here at the very bottom. If you click on start, that brings up a list of programs that you can run on your computer, as well as links to important folders. Now any music that I work with would be under this music button. As you can see that pulls up a list of all the music that I have on this computer. Now I click on my start button again, lets go to pictures. Any picture that I load in from a camera typically fall under this folder on your start menu. I just have some sample pictures here, but if I had loaded pictures of a camera of mine they would be here. So start button again, lets go to documents. Now this is the default location for saving any documents you're working on when you're using your computer, such as Word documents, Excel documents and alike, they would all appear here. Now on the start menu you have the option of going to all programs, this list, absolutely every computer that is installed, or every program that is installed on your computer, you can just click that and scroll down until you find a program that you're interested in running, and you just click on it. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to use a computer."
