"My name is Hester Lox. I am a professional organizer base in the San Francisco Bay area. I became a professional organizer when I first heard of doing this work because I was ready to move on from a prior career but there were things I liked about that prior career. I was a piano turner and I worked in people's homes and that was one of things that I liked the most about my work with being in constantly different environments, constantly interacting with people, building trust, getting to know people at varying levels of familiarity and I very quickly learned that in this kind of work, it's exactly the same. You're in people's homes. You have to be trustworthy. Some people in my field are insured. I am not and probably should be but everything that I want in a career is net for me and this one as I said getting to know people being in different environments being trusted it's not the same. Every single job I have to come up with creative new ways to work not just with the stuff but with personality of the person I'm dealing with, with their fears, with their strengths, with their need for distraction, okay. Some people have a twenty minute attention span and I have to take that into account. It's constantly creative and the more I learn about that, the more I say Hester you are blessed. You found the work that's right for you. Again my name is Hester Lox and I'm a professional organizer based in San Francisco Bay area."
