"You have a three month old baby. He or she is becoming more active, little bit stronger in the upper body and you want to continue to work on their physical development. Hi, I'm Dr. Donna with some advice on how to do that. One thing you can do is go to the store and purchase a dollar fifty beach ball maybe cheaper than that wonderful opportunity to start working on upper body strength hand and neck control. Lay your baby on the beach ball. Support them on the back just rock them side to side. Again, watch them if they get agitated, they'll move around. They'll make sounds like crying or whatever. Make sure you just kind of back off. Give them a chance to just get use to this whole stimulation. Opportunity like I said to work on upper body strength. Also, if your child has good head control and neck control, you can sit them on the beach ball. Rock them back and forth. Also, sing when you're doing this. Give them a little bit of chance to hear your voice. They love your voice. It doesn't matter how you sound when you're singing. Sing all kinds of songs. Also, put a shaker or rattle in their hand. Let them shake it. Let them move it around. Let them cross midline to feel it to touch it to grab it. They love to also have their bodies stimulated. Take their legs. Move their legs around side to side cross them just working on some gentle movement same thing, cross their arms midline. At this point, babies like to learn to roll over. Some of them are doing it already. You'll be amazed but what you could do is cross their midline. Take their knee and bend it over. Excuse me. Support them in the back and just kind of gently see if they'll roll over and help them a little bit. Again you just take them on the back. Cross their leg over. Do it both ways. Do it this way. Do it that way. Also, work on pulling them up to a sit nice and gentle. Watch for head and neck control. If your child is having a hard time with head and neck control, you may want to just subtly help them sit up lot of opportunities to work on physical development with just home prompts. I'm Dr. Donna. Good luck."
