"My name's Ryan Parker with Parker Home Renovations in New Braunfels, Texas and today I'm going to teach you how to install a new cabinet door. Now, the first thing you need to do is find the opening for the cabinet door, and you need to measure it. You'll have to measure it height wise, and width wise to get the proper fitting door for that application. Then you'll want to go down to any hardware store that carries cabinets or cabinet doors, and you'll want to find a cabinet door that you like, or one that matches the others, that are already there. Once you find the matching cabinet door, and you find it to the correct dimensions, then you want to bring it back and you'll want to mount your hardware on it, meaning your hinges, you don't have to mount the knob yet, but you'll want to mount the hinges. So what you do, is you measure from the top and the bottom, two inches, and that's where you'll want the new hinges to be. So, in this situation, you know, I have a hinge here and it's, it mounts to the cabinet door, on the inside of the door, and it mounts to the cabinet flange on the outside. So, what you'll do is you'll measure two inches down, you'll put the hinge on the back of the door, and you'll screw your hinge into the door, on the top and the bottom, two inches from the top, two inches from the bottom, then you'll hold the cabinet door into place and line it up with the other cabinet doors in your cabinet, and once you get it lined up and it looks level and everything, then you can pop a screw in the outside flange here and here, on the top and on the bottom, and that's how you hang a cabinet door.
