"This is Patrick Munro financial adviser talking about what to look at when investing in a company. One of the main things you want to look at is to research the company and see what type of a market they have for their product or service going forward. You have to look then at their earning history, we call it back testing, and see how they have come to this particular position in life. And in their market cycle. Then you also have to look at their potential risk, is their a competitor on the horizon that may put their product or service really into a obsolescence. If there isn't and they really seem to have a handle on today's marketplace in this capitalistic society that we live in, then you have to look at the risk. The risk that's on your money. And then finally the way that you are going to receive your money back in the form of interest or dividends by investing in that company. This is Patrick Munro talking about what to look for when investing in a company."
