The pros are they make great couch potatoes. They like to sit by you when you're out on the porch. They like to go for long walks. They're not rambunctious usually. The disadvantages of of having an older senior dog is more then likely, there will be more veterinary care needed, and that can also run into some expense, or be, or be very expensive.
