"You've got the fish tank, now you got to take care of them. Hi, I'm Bruce with Aquatek in Austin, Texas. Today we are going to discuss how to care for your fish. Besides the normal everyday just looking at the tank to make sure that everyone is healthy and active, you want to do your routine maintenance. Keeping the water clean and clear is easy and can be rewarding in its own right. You also want to make sure that the fish are receiving a balanced and nutritional diet. There are lots of prepared foods on the market and some of them are better than others. Try to offer smaller more frequent meals, both dry and frozen foods as well as some live foods. Make sure the temperature in your tank is appropriate to the fish species you are keeping. Some fish like colder water like Cyprinids, while others like warmer water like the Sicklets of West Africa. Until next time, this is Bruce with Aquatek in Austin, Texas."
