"What we are going to do to sand the surface is power sand. Power sanding is a life saver for wood turning . If you are hand sanding it takes a long time. This is so much quicker and why it is so quick is we have got basically a pad here. It has got Velcro here and here and I've got also all the discs going through the various grits. Start with about 100 grit, line it up on a disc, make sure I tighten this. I have got that nice and secure. I'll center my disc on here, center it. Now this is kind of a fancy drill but you don't have to, just a regular angle drill will work well. I do like drills that are variable speeds."
