When you go in to your designer to have your dress custom made you will want to bring pictures with you. Bring pictures of dresses that you've tried on. You can bring different pictures from different bridal magazines, from different web sites. You can even bring several different pictures. They don't have to be of the exact same dress or the exact same style. If you have a good designer they can take the different aspects of the dresses and designs that you like and combine them into a design that will make your perfect dress. Pictures are the most important part. This way you can make sure that what you have in your mind, what the designer has in mind are the same thing. This way when your dress is being made you don't have any surprises and everyone is happy. But I can't emphasize anymore how important it is to have pictures of what you're looking for. This way you and your designer will be on the same page and you can say exactly what you want because a lot of times what the, if you say one term and you mean something else the designer will take what you say literally when you're really meaning something else"
