"When setting up accessible top roping, pulley systems for people with disabilities, you want to make sure before you even start, that you have all the right equipment. Some of the equipment we have here today is, you will need two ropes, here's one rope, and another rope, that we will be setting up, on the top rope system here in a second. You will need a sling seat, which is also often times called a hoyer lift or a hoyer sling. It's used to help to transfer people from one location to the other. And this will actually be used similar to a hammock today, to take people up and down the rock climbing wall. Next thing we'll need is, three daisy chains. Daisy change are often used in rock climbing, and they're very strong pieces of equipment, and they're called daisy chains because of these loops, and you'll need three of those. Next you'll need about four or five locking carabiners. Carabiners are also very often used in rock climbing, and they're locking, meaning you could clip something in, close it, and then tighten it up, so it doesn't open again, it's a very safe piece of equipment. When rock climbing, you always want to be safety first. The saying we say around our office is, you're not having fun, if you're not being safe, so always safety first. Next piece of equipment you'll have is a chest harness, which we'll show you how to put that on in a second. You'll also need a waste harness, which we will also show you how to put on in a second. But this is the equipment you will need to do accessible, adaptable rock climbing."
